The main idea is that it is talking about college students who are taking minimum wage jobs and that they want to put there degree to work and get out of what they are doing. I think that in my opinion they should go out to bigger coperations and quit the job they have paying them minimum wage and go out there and find a better job that suites their degree. For business this can hurt them because they are not hiring the right people who are actually fit for the job. For the government this also a bad thing because it makes it look they are not doing anything to help out the cause.
It looks like it could hurt them in the long run, but at the same time, I believe that people should pursue jobs that reflect their degrees. They are more talented in those fields and will help the companies better. Overall, you are truly right by thinking in that aspect.
